There
is no excuse not to PRAY.
The Lord never asked us
if we wanted to pray.
He asked us to pray. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
The Lord never said you had to know what to ask for.
He said before you even call he will answer ( Isaiah 65:24)
He promised that he would hear the prayers of the righteous (Proverbs 15:29)
Who should we be praying
for?
(James5:13-16)
Where should we pray?
Anywhere (Mark 1:35)
What should we be praying about?
(Matthew 7:7-8)
Why should you pray for
someone else?
(Psalm 34:15-18)
How can I be sure God is
hearing my prayer?
(Matthew 6:6/Philippians 4:6-7)
The
Essence of Prayer
What would you say if
the Lord gave you the opportunity to bless someone.
If the Lord said "Melissa, Richard"...I will give you anything that
you will need to bless
someone today any one. What would you do? What would you say?
Well, everyday the Lord
has given us the ability to bless someone through our prayer life.
Everyday you have the choice to bless or to curse someone.
He wants his children to have so much yet the enemy convinces us daily that the
Lord does not want us to have anything.
Constantly we are bombarded with bills, issues, stresses and so on. We forget
that God's goal is to give us peace.
I was thinking the other day of all the counterfeit things that I let bother me.
I know that God wants me to be in peace, but I've let things get in my way
instead of letting go and letting God.
I've said that word more than a thousand times. However, just as simple as
it is said. .it can be simple to do.
Have you ever found yourself all stressed up and no where to go? Well, I
have, and guess what. The things that I was stressed out about never happened.
Let me say it again. The things that I was stressed out about ever happened. I
know it had happened to you too. How can we get ourselves in the position of
trusting God and staying there?
I have some suggestions and solutions, and it's all in the word of God.

Let's take a look
Simple Solutions
Promise:
Long Life and prosperity
Solution: Proverbs 3:1-2
Keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring
you prosperity.
Promise:
Long life and good days
Solution: Psalm 34:12-13
Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue
from evil and your lips from speaking lies.
Promise:
Wisdom and Understanding
Solution: Proverbs 2:1-9
My daughter, if you accept my words and store up my command within you, turning
your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understand, and if you call out
for insight and cry aloud for understanding and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as forbidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the
Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, from his mouth
come knowledge and understanding.
Promise:
Joy
Solution: Psalm 34:12-13
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
and faithfulness.
