Father, we pray that the institution of marriage will be strengthened and regarded as holy unto the Lord. May husbands and wives rejoice and delight themselves in one another. We pray that they will learn to function so that each preserves individuality while responding to the desires of each other. This unity of persons is a mystery, but that is how it is when two people are united to Christ. So we pray that each will love and honor the other, and that they will let the miracle keep happening!
